L’Ajuntament d’Altafulla commissioned l’Escamot SCCL to carry out the analysis and diagnosis phase for the deployment of a network of School Routes in the municipality, with the objective of determining the existing factors and conditions, and presenting the starting situation for the subsequent creation and consolidation of the School Routes network. This is the first phase of a project by the local government that aims to generate and promote School Routes in Altafulla that encourage children’s autonomy and active and sustainable mobility for travel to educational centers. The three educational centers included in this first phase are: l’Escola La Portalada, l’Escola El Roquissar i l’Institut d’Altafulla. The commission involved, according to the proposal agreed with the City Council of Altafulla for this first phase of the project, the following tasks to be developed by l’Escamot: 1. Urban analysis, 2. Direct survey process with families, and 3. Writing of the conclusions from the analysis.
